This project is part of Program Ro 19 ”Public health initiatives”, funded under the Norway Grants 2009-2014. The expected results of the program are: improve prevention and treatment of contagious diseases (including HIV/SIDA and TB), resources development within healthcare, prevention or reduction of those diseases which are caused by an unhealthy lifestyle. The entire value of the program it’s about 25,592,941 euro. The program focuses on primar medical assistance, inclusive the assistance for old people and children, adresses to specific needs of minority groups esspecialy to gipsy population but in the same time it helps by strengthening the primary medical assistance in quality and cantity terms of offered services. The European Economic Area (EEA) was created in 1994 as a Free Trade between European Comunity (EC) and European Free Trade Association (EFTA). EEA reunites the Member States of European Union (EU) and 3 of EFTA States (Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein), in an intern market based on a free movement of goods, persons, services and capital.

The Norway Grants 2009-2014 represents the Norway’s contribution to reducing the economic and social disparties and to strenghten the bilateral relations with 16 country, states of EU from Central Europe and South Europe. Through this mechanism, in the current period, the financial areas are: poverty eradiation, Schengen cooperation and combating oganized crime and cross-border crime, enviroment and a lasting development, health, education, civil society development, research and education, justice and social dialog.
